Item Description
Quartz has literally been found at thousands of worldwide localities. With that said, there are a few places that produce some truly iconic and eye-catching crystals. The Brandberg area in the Erongo Region of Namibia are certainly some of the most distinctive and alluring Quartz crystals found in the modern era of mineral collecting. This piece is a fine quality, glassy, razor-sharp, gemmy single prism with a mixture of colorless and swirling purple Amethyst hues. The piece is in great shape, no damage that I can find. The lower portion of the piece has a smaller pale lavender colored Amethyst flaring out for a nice touch. A great example of these excellent crystals that will go down as classics. Weight = 38.21 grams
