Item Description
Amethyst is arguably the most well-known variety of Quartz, found all over the world. The famous specimens from the Amatitlán Mine in Mexico are among the finest crystals of Amethyst in the world. This piece is a beautiful diverging cluster of highly lustrous, very gemmy prismatic crystals, free of matrix. The color grades from a saturated purple hue towards the centers of the crystals to virtually colorless on the exterior edges. No damage that I can see, and the crystals are so glassy.
