Item Description

This is spectacular Goboboseb Amethyst crystal with wonderful complexity! It is a sharply formed, three-inch crystal with a stacked series of ethereal, richly colored Amethystine phantoms that dominate the entire crystal. The bottom third of the crystal is dominated by a translucent to transparent grape-purple phantom followed by another series of phantoms demarcated by stacked, parallel inclusions, shaped almost like complete crystals, all the way through almost to the top. At the termination, the phantoms are enhanced with much darker amethystine phantoms with diffuse boundaries and without inclusions that are present right to the top where there is a very transparent and colorless zone right at the perfect pyramidal termination. All of this complexity is easily viewed from the side along all six of the six prism faces and finally, looking down the termination is also mesmerizing.
