Item Description
A big, beautiful and colorful polished slice of Agate from an undisclosed locality in California featuring a pair of matching spherical nodules that have been sliced and polished to show their interior beauty. The central portions of each nodule featuring gemmy, colorless, crystalline Quartz, which grades out in to a mixture of warmer hued Agate, featuring dozens of "leopard spot"-esque formations, with almost "dendritic"-looking growth when viewed up close. It's incredibly rare to find a piece like this with TWO distinct spherical forms on each side, usually these Agates feature only a single nodule, and the impressive size and quality make it a highly desirable piece for any fan of worldwide Agates, or specifically material from California.
Specimen weight is 373 grams (1865 carats).
