Item Description

A classic Quartz specimen from the Italian Alps featuring one predominant, GLASSY, razor-sharp, gem quality "Ticino" or "Tessin" habit crystal with the characteristic tapering form. This habit is created by alternating steep rhombohedral and m prism faces approaching the termination. Several other simple prisms of Quartz are found on the piece, but the "Ticino" crystal is what makes this one special.
