Quartz (Sinotte Coll.)

Item Description

An impressive, large, compound, quartz crystal from Hot Springs, Arkansas and the Sinotte Collection. The termination is razor-sharp, water-clear and is complete all-around. The lower part of the crystal is trasparent to translucent. Very trivial termination edgewear is noted, but is a modest detraction to this striking crystal. Part of the back and base are contacted, but have minimal bruising. Most Arkansas quartz crystals are elongate prisms. This is an excellent example of the far less common more blocky type of quartz crystal.
