Item Description

Beautiful, well-composed and sculptural small cabinet combination from recent finds in the well-known Shigar Valley. The artistically set front pair of lustrous, striated, jet-black schorl crystal sections, both 3.2 cm, on the snow-white field of pearlescent microcline crystals is dramatically complemented by the striking, jagged "mountain range" of sharply terminated quartz crystals. The impressive, dominating quartz is 5.3 cm. The quartz crystals are mostly transparent and have interesting, preferential satin luster or glass-clear faces. The embedded and included schorl crystal sections are a super compliment. The microcline field hosts more smaller schorls and scattered patches of sparkly, contrasting, creamy lepidolite microcrystals. The outside of the right quartz crystal is contacted, but this remains a wonderful and aesthetic combination from the noted locale.
