Item Description

Sceptered quartz is relatively uncommon from this well-known locale, noted for large, rich green fluorite octahedrons. This striking and excellent large plate is covered with a forest of glassy quartz crystals. The variable crystal size really adds pazzazz. BUT, essentially ALL of the larger crystals (to 5.5 cm) are sceptered! Adding character are clusters of partially hidden, light mint-green, etched, fluorite octahedrons. Choice material in great shape, with only a few gently bruised crystals and very modest periphery wear. The specimen displays very well. Ex Schlichter Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
