Item Description
A surreal, scuptural and rare large quartz scepter from this Minas Gerais pegmatite district, better known for beautiful tourmaline specimens. A dramatic, sharp, conical, flower-bulb-like, hexagonal scepter with impressive stepped-growth faces and a nifty light iron oxide coating is jauntily perched on the stout, stepped-growth quartz crystal stalk with frosted faces. Complete all-around very nearly pristine. A trivial bit of rubbing is noted to the tip, which only removed the oxide coating. An out-of-sight contact lower on the back on two prism faces, where another crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. Choice and rare large material from an East Coast collection. A must for the species or locality collector. Value??
