Item Description
From a discovery in the early 2000s. This is an attractive and gemmy Quartz crystal with a distinct scepter habit. The crystal is sharp and well-formed with lustrous faces. No major damage that I can find. A good quality and eye-catching Quartz specimen that will make a nice addition to any Quartz collection or suite of gem crystals or Chinese minerals. The piece comes from the collection of Richard (Rich) A. Kosnar (1946-2007). Towards the end of his life, Rich started to assemble a Chinese mineral suite, and this crystal (along with a few others we'll be offering in the auctions in the coming months) was one of his first acquisitions into that part of his collection.
