Quartz is found in practically all environments in a wide variety of habits. China has given collectors literally tons of Quartz specimens over the last 15 years, and the colors, habits and sizes are just as diverse as any other country. This piece is a nearly 100% WATER CLEAR Quartz crystal, and it's a textbook scepter to boot! It's essentially colorless, perhaps one could say it has a very pale smoky hue, but the faces are clean, distinct, sharp and smooth, so as to give a near perfect represenation of what a scepter should look like. A very tiny nick near the termination keeps its from being 100% perfect, but you really have to look closely. It's no surprise that China has given us these wonderful specimens along with all the other amazing minerals that have been rolling out over the years. A great little miniature scepter Quartz for any collector.
