Item Description
Sculptural and excellent, 5.2 cm, amethyst scepter from this well-known King County, Washington locale. The stout, very glassy, lustrous, transparent to translucent, compound doubly terminated scepter is 3.7 cm tall and has pleasing light blush-purple color. The scepter is set on a striking small cabinet jackstraw cluster of glassy, lustrous, transparent to translucent quartz crystals, to 6.8 cm, with stepped-growth prism faces. MUCH better in person, as the glassiness, luster and gemminess made photography difficult. From the Bill Larson Quartz collection case, of approximately 250 specimens, which we bought in 2023. It was a long-term, very diverse mix on display for decades at the Pala International shop as an educational and fun exhibit. It was started back in the late 1970s. An artistic and very showy amethyst scepter and quartz combination from King County with multiple views.
