A cute combination miniature from the famous Sweet Home Mine. A 5 mm on the diagonal, glassy, translucent, pretty rose-red rhodochrosite rhomb is delicately set on the side of an impressive dense forest of quartz points. A plethora of smaller quartz needles are embedded on the sculptural, contrasting tetrahedrite matrix. The quartz points reach about 2.5 cm and the few broken tips are certainly only a modest detraction to this showy 360-degree sawed piece from the 1990s finds. Classic Sweet Home combination material.
