Item Description
A fascinating and rare old style of quartz from this famous mine at Santa Eulalia. The crystals in this sculptural divergent spray have striking scepter-like, intensely angular, parallel-growth and look like something from a science fiction movie! The iron oxide staining certainly heightens the effect! A most dramatic, rare and pristine 360-degree quartz from the Bob Trimingham Collection. It displays very well without aid. The crystals have an unusual metallic ring when struck! Purchased from Mineralogical Research Co. in San Jose in 1968.
