Item Description

An attractive Quartz specimen from the little known Keystone Mine in Cunningham Gulch east of Silverton. This display quality large cabinet features a good number of sharp, lustrous, translucent to gemmy, white / colorless prismatic hexagonal crystals of Quart along with many smaller Quartz crystals on host rock matrix. The largest crystal measures 2.2 cm. This is one of the few pieces I've seen from this locality and it would make a great addition to any Quartz suite or a collection of Colorado minerals. Most of the crystals are undamaged, and the piece displays nicely as you can see from the photos. Valued at $1,200 for size, quality and the rare locale. From the collection of Brian Kosnar.
