It's hard to find specimens from the famous K.D. Pocket (mined in the 1990s) in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. This beautiful Quartz specimen features a solitary sharp, lustrous, prismatic white Quartz crystal measuring 4.4 cm long aesthetically flaring out of a "spray" of smaller Quartz crystals an slight "casts" of Quartz replacing Calcite(?) on the reverse side. This three-dimensional display piece creates a very striking presentation. Virtually damage free and very eye-catching.
