Item Description

Nebraska is not necessarily the first state that one thinks of when it comes to mineral specimens, but these famous pseudomorphs from Crawford are some of the most iconic specimens from anywhere in the Cornhusker State. This piece is a beautiful "flower"-like group of what was originally Gypsum blades that were completely replaced by silvery-white to grey colored Quartz. The piece is a complete "floater" with no damage or point of attachment anywhere. A very nice example of these now incredibly hard to find pseudomorphs from the far northwestern corner of Nebraska. From the noted pseudomorph collection of Dr. Wouter van Tichelen of Belgium.
