A striking and superb pseudomorph of drusy Quartz after a huge Danburite crystal from the famous mines at Charcas, Mexico. This complete-all-around and pristine pseudomorph is hollow. The smaller, casted pseudomorph on one side is a fine accent. The pseudomorph beautifully preserves the textbook Danburite crystal form with the sharp chisel termination. An outstanding, large pseudomorph. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection, who purchased this piece at the 1998 Tucson Show. Even better in person, where you can really appreciate how glittery the cystallized, sugary surface is.
