Item Description
Sparkly, sugary, drusy quartz has pseudomorphed (casted) three intergrown danburite crystals on this pristine, striking and superb 360-degree specimen from the famous mines at Charcas, Mexico. The three pseudos on this very sculptural and aesthetic small cabinet are 7.3 cm long (attached to middle crystal), 8.3 cm long (centerpiece) and 7.3 cm long (protruding pseudo). The pseudomorph beautifully preserves the textbook danburite crystal forms with the sharp chisel terminations. Ex. Ken Roberts Pseudomorph Collection. An outstanding pseudomorph that displays beautifully without aid. Even better in person, where you can really appreciate how glittery the crystallized, sugary surface is.
