Item Description
Sculptural diverging fan-like spray of RARE pseudomorphs of quartz after tapered anhydrite blades, from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The spray is aesthetically set on the banded chalcedony matrix plate richly covered with tiny, sparkly anhydrite blades. Nearly pristine, with only very gentle scattered bruising to a few tips, which is certainly only a modest detraction. A fascinating and rare pseudomorph combination. While we see these time to time in big pieces, or stuck inside amethyst geodes, this is a real specimen in a real size for the collector.
