Item Description

A very rich and highly desirable Arizona clasic. Burnt-orange to butterscotch-colored pseudomorphs of quartz after sharp wulfenite prisms, to 7 mm, are strikingly festooned on the concave, sparkly chalcedony crust. Numerous rosettes of glassy barite blades add color, contrast and pizzazz. The crystal density and sculptural quality of this piece is exceptional. And there are a few more isolated pseudos on the back side. These are some of the most sought-after Arizona pseudos and they are seldom on the market in this richness and quality. Essentially pristine, with only one broken crystal noted. Remarkable for the crystal density. Valued at $2000.
