A rare and exceptional combination from this historic locale. Calcite is rare from the Rayas Mine, but here, sparkly drusy quartz coats a striking, pristine, 9.8 cm, doubly terminated calcite crystal. The calcite is aesthetically set on three layers of quartz/amethsyt crystals coated with drusy quartz. The underlying calcite of the crystal and a remnant of calcite fluoresce neon-orange. A MUST for the species or locality collector. Valued at $1500.
