A rare and excellent miniature pseudomorph from an unknown Brazilian locality. Stepped-growth faces really accentuate the sharp scalenohedral form of this sharp 360-degree, lustrous, translucent, iron oxide-included golden-brown quartz after calcite crystal. Complete all-around and in good shape. The ding on the back of the termination is noted, but this remains an impresssive Brazilian rarity. We showed this to a knowledgeable Brazil collector and he could not suggest a location or similar pseudomorph he had seen. A must for the pseudomorph, locality, quartz or calcite collector.
