The famous mines at Guanajuato have produced some outstanding pseudomorphs of quartz after calcite crystals. This is a striking and most unusual pseudo of translucent, pinkish off-white quartz after a spectacular, sharp knife-blade rhomb. Complete all-around and pristine, the fat end is partially hollow. Older, most excellent material from the Frank Hess Collection. A must for the locality or species collector.
