Item Description
A classic, pristine, super sharp, and glassy, beta quartz crystal aesthetically set on matrix from Dalnegorsk, Russia. This translucent, dipyramidal beauty is technically a quartz pseudomorph after beta quartz. The phase transition is at about 573 degrees Centigrade. Dalnegorsk has produced some superb beta quartz crystals and this is certainly a highly representative example. Valued at $250-300.
