Item Description

A unique and amazing pseudomorph in a huge chalcedony lined geode! Matte, grayish-lavender amethyst crystals fully line the interior of the geode and have pseudomorphed very large, strikingly set barite blades! The edge of the large pseudo is lightly bruised from opening the geode, but is certainly a modest detraction to the impact of this impressive piece. The presentation effect is incredible on this most striking large specimen. Rare for any worldwide locale, but especially from Morocco! We have never seen anything like it from this locale. Value?? We think fairly in the $1500-2000 range. 8.8 pounds or 4.0 kilos.
