Quartz ps. After Aragonite w/ Chlorite (rare) ex Obodda

Item Description

An exceptionally rare and choice pseudomorph of quartz after a striking, diverging spray of sharp, hexagonal, tapered aragonite crystals! The pseudos are coated-with and included-with green chlorite, as just a couple of broken crystals reveal. Outstanding and rare material from the Alpine deposits at Alchuri. Valued at $500-ish because it is so unusual, I would think.
