A striking, stellate cluster of sharp, hexagonal aragonite crystals has been pseudomorphed by chalcedony, included by hematite, which gives it its reddish-brown tone. The form is perfectly preserved. This is a outstanding floater, in excellent condition and in fine sculptural form. The back has been sawed and polished and the beautiful radial form is colorfully highlighted. Ex David Stoudt Collection. This is one of the last and best of a small lot we had from from his collection. Rare and choice material!
