Rancho Coyamito is one of the two world-class Chihuahua, Mexico agate deposits, along with Ojo Laguna. This a striking, posssibly UNIQUE pseudomorph from locale. Translucent light lavender to brown quartz/chalcedony has pseudomorphed a highly sculptural parallel-growth cluster of variably-sized pseudo-hexagonal aragonite prisms. Both sides have minor colorless quartz overgrowths. Some of the pseudos are sharply terminated, while others are hollow with heavily etched interiors. This really adds flare to this striking and unusual rarity. Valued by the former dealer at $350. Try to find another!!!
