Certainly one of the most unusual and rare pseudomorphs you will see from any Mexican locality! This is a quartz pseudomorph after a large, sharp, textbook hexagonal, tabular, aragonite crystal. The etching and growth patterns on both sides really add character to this singularly strange-looking piece. These were called "Indian pesos" by some collectors. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection.
