Gopfersgrun is renowned for weird mineralogy, where soft talc psuedomorphs hard quartz! This is striking and extremely rare pseudomorph specimen composed solidly of quartz after sharp, stellate sprays of andalusite (? a guess based on mineralogy and MINDAT species lists). Undoubtably old-time material. We have never seen another like it. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Value???
