Item Description

An attractive "pineapple"-shaped group of soft silvery colored Quartz crystals with slightly tapered terminations and somewhat "stepped" growth on the prisms. The piece is crystallized all the way around, and the only damage that I can find is the point of attachment on the base of the piece. The largest individual crystal measures 1.7 cm. I have never seen a Quartz specimen quite like this from Khetchel Village (Khat Che Village). From the collection of Bill ("Burma Bill") Larson of Fallbrook, California. Bill is a well-known gem and mineral dealer as well as a miner and collector. Bill traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens and stones from Myanmar (Burma).
