Item Description
A strange specimen of Quartz from Balochistan, Pakistan that features a single, prismatic, hexagonal crystal which is transparent at the termination, but just a few millimeters down one can see an interesting and unusual "phantom" frozen inside. The inclusions creating the "phantom" are unknown. They range in color from nearly a white-cream hue at the termination into a golden shade, a reddish hue and then a darker brick red color at the base. I bought this piece from a Pakistani dealer at the Denver Show who acquired it while on a buying trip to Balochistan, so I'm sure it's genuine. It's not 100% complete, as the base is contacted, but I just couldn't resisit it because of its unique nature and beautiful coloration.
