This beautiful specimen is a classic example of wulfenite from the M'Fouati Mine, which has produced a wide variety of wulfenites over the years, ranging from thin tabular blades to robust thick crystals, with colors varying from strong red to soft yellow hues. What makes this specimen particularly unique is the drusy quartz coating on the thick wulfenite crystals, giving it a sparkling appearance while allowing the inner wulfenite to display a vibrant orange color. The quartz covers the entire specimen, including the matrix, adding to its overall aesthetic appeal.
