Quartz on Wulfenite

Sparkly drusy quartz coats two aesthetically intergrown and well-placed prisms and the sculptural vug in this very showy and uncommon combination from this less well-known locale. The lustrous, translucent wulfies, to 1.5 cm, are distinctively layered yellow-orange and yellow. Around 2011-2014 artisanal miners worked this obscure area, probably worked in the 1950s and 60s for specimens and came up with some fine pieces. Rare and excellent material valued by the former dealer at $950.
