Quartz on Sphalerite (excellent)

Item Description

A glorious and gorgeous hedgehog spray of water-clear, lightly frosted, taped quartz points on a crust of sphalerite crystals from this well-known mine, famous for excellent mixed sulfide and quartz specimens. The quartz points reach about 3.2 cm on this cutie. For all of the crystal density, we noted only about five broken quartz points, all on the lower periphery of the piece by the sphalerite. This very fine and classic piece displays supremely from either side.
