Item Description
This stunning and excellent CABINET plate is covered with very glassy, highly lustrous, translucent, tapered and colorless quartz crystals. The matrix plate is crystallized sphalerite. A few scattered pyrite pyritohedrons and iridescent marcasite crystals are a nice accent. Complete all-around and very nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised termination. This is a very fine 360-degree combination specimen with great visual appeal. The variable size of the quartz crystals enhances this fine piece. It looks like a dense cluster of skyscrapers in New York City! Classic Cavnic quartz. Ex Schlichter Collection.
