Item Description
This is simply a sparkling plate of quartz at first look, but with unusual sparkle and light to it. All the little crystals are gemmy and transparent, so light reflects really strongly on them, as if they are sugar. The quartz sit on a mound of siderite, which is said to have replaced a calcite knob originally present. This is an unusual locality quartz from the southwest-focused collection of Gary Weaver. From a small find in 2016 according to his label.
