Item Description

These fine mineral combinations from Morocco are rarely seen on the market, and may represent the best of siderite from the country. Sharp glassy prismatic crystals of transparent water clear terminated Quartz perched on a contrasting matrix of equally sharp well formed rhombohedral earthy 'dirt' yellow-brown Siderite crystals. The euhedral Quartz crystals exhibit excellent horizontal striations on the crystal faces. The eye-catching central Quartz crystal rising above all others measures 6.9 cm. Complete all around with only one cleaved Quartz termination and an occasional nick here and there. A superb collector grade specimen that would be a unique addition to any focused Morocco, Quartz, or worldwide collection. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl.
