Item Description

Exceptional two-generation Quartz specimen from the well-known Goboboseb Mountains in Erongo. The first generation is basically a geode, with the inner lining consisting of .1 cm Quartz crystals. The second generation consists of larger Quartz crystals, upon which an outstanding rosette of gemmy Quartz crystals has grown. The rosette is 3.8 cm across, with the largest of the lustrous Quartz crystals being over 1 cm long and over 1 cm wide. Most of these Quartz crystals contain red specks of Hematite, which add beauty and depth to the specimen. Great aesthetics and form, and considerably better in person than the pics can portray.
