Item Description
Most often, when Olmiite from the famous Nchwaning II Mine is coated, it is by Calcite. In this specimen, the much rarer combination is Quartz on flesh-colored Olmiite. The Quartz crystals, many of which are doubly-terminated, are lustrous and gemmy. The largest of the Olmiite balls is 2.2 cm across. A very appealing, and unusual, combination piece.
