Item Description
Super rare, highly desirable Arizona pseudomorph from the obscure Piedmont Mine. A 2.8 cm malachite pseudomorph after a blocky azurite crystal and is covered with sparkly druzy quartz. The pseudo is jauntily set in the sawed angled quartz crystal matrix. This unique piece is from the singular 1955 find of about 50 specimens, which were divided by the three collectors. The pseudo is damaged, but many specimens from the find were and is certainly acceptable. Les Presmyk later acquired one of the three collector's specimens. An iconic Holy Grail specimen for the Arizona collector and very rarely on the market.
