Item Description

Certainly one of the most spectacular and unusual pseudomorphs from Washington State and the USA. Sparkly tiny needle quartz crystals coat hematite that has replaced a sculptural cluster of parallel-growth tabular epidote crystals. You can see the exposed brick-red hematite on the nifty small pseudo on the side. These striking and fascinating specimens come from a skarn deposit. From early 1980s finds, with none since.
