Item Description
Sparkly quartz crystals, looking like ice, are preferentially deposited on fluorite octahedrons on the very showy and unusual large specimen from recent Chinese finds. The translucent, apple-green octos reach 7.2 and most corners are unusualy capped by glassy, etched, fluorite cuboctahedrons. The pretty apple-green color glows when backlit. These fluorites came out in modest numbers for only a short time, then became scarce and expensive. BRIGHT blue-purple fluorescence. Ex Sal Avella Collection.
