Quartz on Fluorite (rare Arizona locale)

Item Description

A rarely seen specimen from this lesser-known locality in Graham County, Arizona featuring dozens of sharp, well-formed, white/colorless prismatic crystals of Quartz measuring up to about 6 mm, sitting atop a layer of rich purple colored Fluorite on host rock matrix. Upon close inspection, some of the Quartz crystals show tiny scepter and/or "fenster"/window style forms on the terminations, but you really need a loupe or preferably a microscope to see them best. These are rare to be sure, and if you collect minerals of Arizona, it's a cool esoteric locality piece that would make a great addition to your collection.
