Item Description
Sparkly tiny quartz crystals nearly totally cover the sculptural elongated cluster of intergrown multi-hued fluorite cubes. The dominating large cube is 4.5 cm across. The lustrous, translucent to transparent fluorites are blush-purple or straw-yellow. Classic and showy old-time combination material from one of the extinct historic mines of Cumbria (not sure which, so we did not attribute the mine name as there are several). Interestingly, the straw-yellow fluorite has minimal fluorescence, due to higher iron content.
