RARE and highly unusual looking tourmaline and quartz from this obscure Taquaral area pegmatite. The very glassy, well-striated, translucent, pretty variable bottle-green doubly terminated tourmaline is fantastically crowned by two offset, tilted sharp frosted, etched quartz crystals! The basal stepped-growth terminations are covered with tiny lepidolite crystal, adding more pizzazz. Mineral specimens of any variety are rare from here and this surreal combination is possibly unique. This complete all-around and pristine combination has amazing 360-degree visual appeal!
