Quartz on Chrysocolla (ex Arnaud Collection)

Item Description

A classic, attractive display specimen featuring sharp, lustrous, transparent / translucent colorless Quartz crystals which are coating intense blue-green Chrysocolla on matrix. The piece comes from the collection of John Arnaud, who obtained it from mineral dealer Ed Rosenzweig, whose label states it's from the collection of Frederick Starke. A more specific locality is not given, but based upon what I have seen, this is a very good piece of this material, and certainly among the better specimens we've offered in the auctions.
