A striking, 7.0 cm, complexly sharply terminated quartz crystal with a water-clear termination dominates this fine, old-time 360-degree specimen from near Hot Springs. The fine large crystal and the dense coverage of the smaller crystals at the base makes every turn a different visual experience. The subtle stepped-growth faces on the very glassy and lustrous prism faces add even more pizzazz. Complete all-around and in great shape, for such an old-timer. The trivial bit of termination edge bruising to the large crystal and the periphery wear on one side of the piece are noted, but are certainly only modest detractions to this aesthetic small cabinet. This fine old-timer comes from an East Coast collection with a faded and torn century-old label. Old-time pieces are seldom on the market.
