Quartz - magnificent large elestial sceptre

This piece is truly an outstanding quartz specimen by any standard, and though the photos indicate a piece which the eye first assumes is a miniature due to shape and quality, it is a LARGE CABINET specimen and yet has the qualities one wishes for in a perfect smaller specimen and so rarely sees in the larger. Many people, especially the Brazilians, call this multiply-sceptered, complexly colored style "Elestial Quartz," to give it a name and separate it from the common plain quartz found all over Brazil. This particular specimen has one of the sharpest terminations I have yet seen on the material, where the accent outgrowths accentuate the top instead of detract form it (as so many piueces are too "busy" and ruin the aesthetic). It is complete all around except for the lower back face where it grew against matrix. The termination is certainly complete all around, and glows when backlit. I need to mention a few small dings, and one small ding (damage) on the very tip which is present but not all that noticeable when displayed upright with a slight tilt back. While those small problems are present, they simply do not detract visually - it really is one of the most majestic examples of this material I have seen. NOTE: 10.4 pounds in weight
